Editorial policy
This policy explains how we choose topics, check information and produce our videos and guides.
1. Useful, safe topics
We cover concrete everyday problems: home, kitchen, tech, budget, travel. We deliberately exclude electrical DIY, dangerous chemistry, medical advice and “remedies”, anything that could put a child at risk, as well as politics, religion and tragic news.
2. Sourced information
Every figure and every piece of advice about health, money or safety relies on a recognised source (public bodies, consumer associations, manufacturers). Sources are listed at the bottom of each guide. If we can't find a reliable source, we don't publish.
3. Transparency about AI
- Images: illustrations in our videos and guides are generated by artificial intelligence. They illustrate the topic and do not show real people.
- Voice: the voice-over is a synthetic voice.
- Text: scripts are written with the help of AI tools, from the cited sources, and published under the publisher's responsibility.
Our videos are labelled as containing synthetic media when YouTube asks for it.
4. Independence
No brand pays to be mentioned in our guides. If content is ever sponsored or contains affiliate links, it will be clearly stated at the top of the page and in the video.
5. Corrections
Found a mistake? Write to contact@howcomment.com with the link. We check, fix the guide and show the update date.
